A Dying Ember is a Metalcore band from Los Angeles California..
The Group was formed in 2006 by Drummer/Singer Chris Ponce
guitarist Nick Castor, Lead Vocalist Chuck Erra and Guitarist
Feedback Sanchez. After going through several bass players they
incorporated J-ro Quintero on Bass Guitar. After a few years of
being in the garage writing music and playing local shows they
decided to go into the studio in late 2008 to record their debut
album "Sea of Blood" which was produced by Drummer Chris
Ponce. The album proved to be a challenge to complete as only
about half of the album was written and a portion of the music and
lyrics were changed at the last minute. The album was completed in
mid 2010 and released digitaly later that year on iTunes and
Amazon..
